Apex Legends supports crossplay across all five platforms it runs on, and it's turned on automatically. You can queue with anyone once you've added them to your in-game friends list.

Taking your account with you
Lets your account, progress and cosmetics follow you between PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2. Every player has it automatically, but your platform account must be linked to your EA Account. It arrived in October 2023.

- Yes. Apex Legends supports crossplay across all five platforms — EA app, Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch 2 — and it's turned on automatically.
- Is Apex Legends cross-progression?
- Yes. Every player has cross-progression automatically, so your account, progress and cosmetics follow you across PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2. Your platform account has to be linked to your EA Account for it to work.
- Can you turn crossplay off in Apex Legends?
- Yes, crossplay can be switched off in the game's settings. It's on by default.
- Can I merge two Apex Legends accounts?
- No. You get one Apex Legends profile per EA Account, and progress can't be moved between EA Accounts or merged from two of them. If you unlink a platform from your EA Account you lose access to that progress until you relink it.
Playing across platforms
Aim carries over even when your hardware doesn't — if you're moving between PC and another shooter, the sensitivity converter will match your turn distance exactly. And if you can't connect at all, check whether Apex is down before blaming crossplay.
