Apex Legends ranks
Eight tiers, each split into four divisions except Master and Apex Predator. Every rank costs RP to queue into and pays out more for placement and kills the higher you climb.
Apex Predator cut right now
Correct as of 20:34 UTC on 5 August 2026, refreshed at most every 15 minutes. Apex Predator is the top 750 players per platform rather than a fixed RP score, so this number moves whenever people play. Just after a season resets, fewer than 750 players have climbed back to Master, so the cut sits at the Master floor of 16,000 RP until the ladder fills up again.
Predator cut over time
Because Apex Predator is a fixed number of slots rather than a fixed score, the RP needed to hold one drifts all season as people climb. We record it every six hours — the API only ever reports the current value, so this history can't be back-filled from anywhere.
History is still building
We snapshot the Predator cut every six hours and chart it once there's a real trend to show. Right now there are 2 samples since 5 August 2026 — not enough to draw a line that means anything.
Nobody publishes this series, so it can't be back-filled — it only exists from the day we started recording it.

- Rookie: Introductory tier. You can't demote back into it once you leave.
- Master: Ranked globally on RP rather than split into divisions.
- Apex Predator: The top 750 players on each platform. Not a fixed RP threshold — the cut moves as people play.
- Ranking up a tier pays a 250 RP promotion bonus. Moving between divisions inside a tier doesn't.
- Demotion has a three-game grace period at a tier threshold. After that you drop to halfway through the division below.
