How heirlooms are obtained
Heirlooms are Mythic-tier cosmetics — a melee weapon skin plus a banner pose and an intro quip, and occasionally a kill quip or emote. Roughly one new set arrives per season through a Collection Event, unlocked by collecting all 24 items in that event's set. Once the event ends the set moves into the Mythic Store, where it can be bought outright.
