Bombastic Explosives Expert

Fuse is an Assault Legend. He was introduced in Season 8 and is locked from the base game. He can be unlocked using digital currency: either 12,000 Legend Tokens or 750 Apex Coins.

A Legend who specializes in explosives, Fuse's tactical ability Knuckle Cluster shoots a cluster bomb that sticks to surfaces and slows and damages any enemy near it.

Knuckle Cluster

Cooldown 20s

Launch a cluster bomb that continuously expels airburst explosives on impact.

Has two charges.
Sticks to a surface or enemy and explodes into multiple mini-explosions after about 1.5 seconds.
Holding the Tactical button delays the launch. Switching weapons cancels the ability if not needed.
Since the Season 30 midseason update, Fuse can Knuckle Jump at base, with a visual marker for where the jump can be triggered. Jumping no longer reduces the cooldown, and jump power is moderately lower.
Returning to weapons after firing is significantly faster, and aiming down sights zooms while aiming the cluster.

Passive

Grenadier

Stack an extra grenade per inventory slot. Fire grenades farther, faster, and more accurately.

Fires grenades with the grenade launcher on Fuse's right arm. Grenades are launched 70% faster, and Fuse can track the bounces of Frag Grenade.
Fuse's enhanced throw power can be toggled on and off by pressing the utility action button (default //) while holding a grenade.
Since the Season 30 midseason update, Fuse takes 25% less explosive damage and sees ordnance highlighted within 30 meters.

Launch a bombardment that encircles a target in a wall of flame.

Explodes mid-air and splits into multiple fire bombs, which upon hitting the ground create a ring of fire.
Can be fired up to 200 meters away.
ADS before launching for a 3x zoom.
Touching the ring of fire does 35 damage and lights enemies on fire, causing a 5 second burn effect that slows the player and does 8 (12 while on top of fire ring) damage per second (40 burn damage, 75 damage total [95 damage if you remain in the fire]).
Enemies inside the ring will be revealed to Fuse and his squadmates.
Fire lasts for 17 seconds.
Since the Season 30 midseason update, it raises faster, the main projectile lands more quickly with an indicator for the blast radius, the mini-bombs explode sooner, and damage falls off less towards the edge of the first explosion.

Season 30 · 14 September 2026

Grenadier now also gives 25% explosive damage resistance and highlights ordnance within 30 m.
Knuckle Jump is part of the base kit. Jumping no longer reduces the cooldown, and jump power is moderately lower.
Knuckle Cluster gets you back to your guns much faster, and you can ADS to zoom while aiming it.
The Motherlode raises faster, lands its main projectile sooner, shows its blast radius, sets off its mini-bombs sooner and loses less damage towards the edge of the first explosion.
Upgrades: Knuckle Jumper and Wreckless were removed; Reignition moved to level 2 (1 second of ultimate charge per 3 explosive damage); Pyro Techniques doubles the flame radius; new level 3 upgrades Big Bang and Sticky Bomb.

Season 28 · 9 February 2026

Reworked ultimate: The Motherlode now fires a mortar that scatters smaller bombs, and aiming down sights lets it pierce up to 13 m of cover.
Knuckle Cluster deals 15 base damage (was 10), starts exploding after 1 second (was 1.7), flies flatter, and lasts half as long.
Fuse is no longer slowed by explosive damage.
Upgrades: new Pyro Techniques and Knuckle Jumper at level 2; new Reignition at level 3. Ring Master, Scar Tissue and Knuckle Hustler were removed.
