Combat Racer

Axle is a Skirmisher Legend who was introduced in Season 29. She could be played for free at the start of the season, and can be unlocked using digital currency: either Legend Tokens or Apex Coins.

She is a Legend who can rush into fights quickly with her Nitro Gate tactical, using the speed boost to move quickly towards enemies or cover. Her ultimate, Kickstart, can be used to launch enemies into the air, making them easy pickings to shoot while also limiting their mid-air movement. Her Drift passive gives her increased speed and increased movement control while sliding.

Nitro Gate

Deploy a speed gate that sends users into a boosted slide.

Throws down a gate that sticks to horizontal surfaces. Any player that steps on it is given a massive speed boost and is forced into a slide. The slide can be cancelled prematurely at any point.
Stepping on the gate also cleanses any slowing effects, similarly to Octane's Stim.
Gate has 150 health.
Up to 3 can exist in the world at once per player.
Axle can deal damage to her own Nitro Gates.

Increased speed and control while sliding.

Improved slide control and duration. Also decreased cool-down.

Deploy an enemy-seeking drone that displaces targets on impact.

Deploys a drone that flies forward. It will attempt to scale surfaces vertically. If it cannot scale the surface it simply hits the surface and detonates.
Drone has 200 health.
Drone moves at 650 velocity.
Drone has a maximum lifetime of 15 seconds.
The drone has a vision radius of 10 meters and has a vision field of view of 80 degrees. If any enemy player is seen by the drone, the drone starts chasing the enemy player. Chased players are highlighted to you and allies.
