What changed in Season 24
Summarised from EA's patch notes. Each legend, weapon and map below has its changes on its own page.
- Season 24 raised base damage across almost every weapon and published headshot damage for each.
- Helmets were removed and headshots now deal the same damage to everyone. Shotguns other than the Mozambique and the Care Package Peacekeeper lost their headshot bonus.
- Armour levelling now stops at purple (Level 3, 1,700 EVO); red armour comes only from the new Mythic armour helmet.
- Hammerpoint Rounds were removed from the loot pool. The Peacekeeper moved into the Care Package and the R-99 returned to the floor.
- Assault Legends gained new class perks: Combat Reserve, Stowed Reload and Battle Surge.

How Apex seasons work
Seasons run about three months each. Every one brings a balance pass, a new Battle Pass and usually a new legend, sometimes a new weapon, and either a new map or a substantial update to an existing one. Ranked resets alongside the season, which is why the Apex Predator cut collapses back to the Master floor for the first few days.
