What changed in Season 27

• Season 27 reworked Valkyrie, Rampart and Horizon.
• All Marksman weapons have smaller, slower projectiles and a lower headshot multiplier; all Snipers have smaller projectiles; LMGs other than the L-STAR lost reverse hip-fire.
• The Triple Take returned to the floor and the C.A.R. moved into the Care Package with the new Galvanic Gavel hop-up.
• Locked hop-ups: the Accelerator and Skull Piercer were removed from every weapon, the Alternator gained the new Double Tap Trigger, and the Graffiti Mod moved from the Spitfire and EVA-8 to the Mozambique and Wingman.
• Midseason update: Octane, Newcastle and Crypto were reworked, folding several upgrades into their base kits.
• The Flatline and R-301 gained damage, and several weapons have larger projectiles at close range.

How Apex seasons work

Seasons run about three months each. Every one brings a balance pass, a new Battle Pass and usually a new legend, sometimes a new weapon, and either a new map or a substantial update to an existing one. Ranked resets alongside the season, which is why the Apex Predator cut collapses back to the Master floor for the first few days.
